Free cancer screening camp for underprivileged community held on Tuesday, 31 March 2026

A free cancer screening camp for underprivileged community members was held on **Tuesday, 31 March 2026**, at **Lakkadpur, Faridabad**. The camp screened **over 100 beneficiaries**, including **60 women and 41 men**. As part of the diagnostics, **25 beneficiaries** underwent **X-rays** (including chest and knee), and **15 women** received **mammography**.


The screenings covered key cancer-prevention tests: **mammography** for breast cancer and **Pap smears** for cervical cancer for women across age groups, and **PSA blood testing** for prostate cancer screening for men. Additional health checks for all participants included **CBC, blood sugar, and blood pressure**.


The camp was conducted in partnership with **Surajkund Dispensary (Faridabad)**, the **Haryana Health Department**, and **Action Cancer Hospital, Delhi**. The initiative was warmly received by local residents and appreciated for bringing essential preventive healthcare closer to the community. Local media also covered the event.
