MVF assisted a 5-year-old Asad Raza from West Bengal with emergency surgery for cancer treatment

Master Asad Raza, a 5-years-old from a poor family in West Bengal, was diagnosed with soft tissue sacrcoma cancer. The child had to undergo local excision surgery to prevent spread to the lungs.

However the family belonging to Low Socio-economic status were already in debt and could not afford the surgery cost.

Vydehi Hospital contacted MVF to help secure funds for the child's emergency surgery.

Thanks to MVF's group of volunteers, we raised over 1.10 lacs in just 2 days, ensuring a timely, life-saving surgery for Master Asad.

As always all contributions received were matched with an equal amount by MVF.
