On Saturday, 16th August 2025, Master Vihaan Foundation organised a free health camp in Bangalore to provide crucial medical services to the community. The event took place at the Rajaji Nagar Primary Health Centre (PHC). The camp was designed to offer a wide range of essential health screenings, including cancer screening, HIV testing, tuberculosis (TB) testing, hemoglobin (HB) assessments and eye examinations.

Throughout the day, our dedicated team successfully screened over 100 patients, conducting an impressive total of 500 different tests. This free health camp was particularly impactful for the local community, as the majority of the beneficiaries were women from underprivileged backgrounds, who often face barriers in accessing quality healthcare. By targeting this demographic, Master Vihaan Foundation aimed to bridge the healthcare gap and empower these women with vital health information and resources.

The event was made possible through a collaborative partnership with Swathi Mahila Sangha, an organisation committed to uplifting women in the region. This collaboration highlighted the importance of community engagement in health initiatives and helped create a supportive, stigma‑free environment for women to seek medical attention.

Cancer screenings were a key focus of the camp, with specialised tests for cervical, breast and oral cancers conducted by a skilled team of doctors from our esteemed hospital partner, the Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences. The presence of these professionals helped reassure participants about the importance of early detection and timely treatment.

In addition to cancer screenings, comprehensive eye checkups were provided by our NGO partner, NAADA World Welfare Trust. These examinations offered participants critical insights into their vision health, with many individuals receiving glasses at concessional prices. Such services are often overlooked in health camps, making this collaboration especially valuable for the beneficiaries.

By the end of the camp, participants were equipped with knowledge about their health status and the next steps they should take, fostering a sense of empowerment and responsibility for their own well‑being.

In conclusion, Master Vihaan Foundation’s free health camp in Bangalore on 16th August 2025 was a significant step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility for underprivileged women. Through collaborative efforts with local organisations and healthcare providers, the event not only offered essential health services but also promoted awareness and education about critical health issues. The foundation remains committed to continuing such initiatives to ensure that health equity is achieved in every corner of the community.
