Master VIhaan Foundation (MVF) marked a meaningful milestone with its first-ever outreach initiative in Kashmir, hosting a cancer screening camp for the underprivileged community in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.

The camp was conducted on Saturday, 11 April 2026, at the Voluntary Medical Society (VMS) campus and benefited approximately 50 patients. Participants received essential preventive health checks and screening support. For both men and women, the camp included CBC and blood sugar tests. Men were offered PSA blood testing for prostate cancer screening, while women received cervical and breast cancer screening, supporting early detection across key risk areas.

This initiative was made possible through a strong local partnership with VMS, an NGO supporting persons with disabilities in Srinagar, and SKIMS Medical College, Srinagar, which deputed senior doctors to support the camp and ensure quality medical guidance.

The camp was warmly welcomed by the local community, and the response reinforced the importance of bringing preventive healthcare closer to those who need it most. MVF looks forward to conducting more screening camps in Kashmir and continuing its commitment to accessible, community-based healthcare.
