On 2nd March 2025, Master Vihaan Foundation organised a cancer screening camp in Bangalore for migrant workers in the Jigni Industrial Area. Many migrant workers face financial and logistical barriers in accessing preventive healthcare, especially cancer screening. This camp aimed to bridge that gap by bringing essential services directly to their workplace community.
During the camp, over 100 men and women received free screenings for cervical, breast and oral cancer. These tests are crucial for early detection and timely treatment, particularly for communities that may not otherwise have access to regular health checkups.
The atmosphere at the free cancer screening camp was warm and supportive, with doctors, volunteers and coordinators guiding participants through each step of the process. In addition to screenings, beneficiaries received basic counselling on cancer awareness, symptoms to watch for and the importance of follow‑up care.
This initiative reflects Master Vihaan Foundation’s commitment to reaching underserved populations and promoting preventive healthcare in industrial and migrant communities.
Watch and hear from some of the camp’s beneficiaries as they share their experiences and talk about what this cancer screening camp in Bangalore meant to them.
